MA Majid Science College is dedicated to the poor and meritorious students of the area. By studying in MA Majid Science College, students can acquire higher degrees for studying in good educational institutions of the country and abroad. MA Majid Science College will work diligently to ensure that money does not stand in the way of talent development.
History
Eminent educationalist, politician, philanthropist late MA Majid and his wife late Mrs. Khairunnessa Majid founded the College in 2011. The college was from personal funds by MA Majid. Since its inception, the college has been free of cost for students of the area. All the buildings, facilities, and equipment have been purchased either from personal funds or donations from few other donors from Bangladesh and abroad.
Mission
The mission of the college is to provide free of charge quality education to the students of rural Bangladesh who are underprivileged and lack access to higher education. We aim to empower and transform the lives of these students by providing them with an excellent academic program, modern facilities, and a supportive learning environment. Our goal is to develop future leaders who will contribute to the sustainable development of their communities and the country as a whole. We strive to promote social mobility, reduce poverty, and create a more equitable society by providing equal opportunities for education to all.
